ATSG CONFIRMED FIX - FEBRUARY 2025
2019 Lincoln Navigator 10R80
Complaint: After rebuild, when put into drive or reverse it would shift back to park and set code PO868: low fluid pressure.
Cause: Damaged auxiliary feed tube boot seal.
Correction: Replace the damaged seals.
Part numbers related to the repair: N/A
Year Make and Model of the Vehicle: 2019 Lincoln Navigator
Mileage: N/A
Shop Name: Powers Transmission
Transmission: 10R80
Additional Notes: This transmission is a drive by wire which requires a specific amount of pressure to operate the manual valve position. During the valve assembly installation to the case the booted seal that connects the valve body to the case was not installed all the way and got damaged when torquing down the bolts. This would be line pressure that will go to the auxiliary feed tube, check the attached pictures. This was also the reason for the low-pressure code being set.
