Additional Notes: Due to sudden loss of reverse, the transmission was pulled and checked but nothing wrong was seen. While disassembling the valve body, the tech said the separator plate was damaged. The check ball was blown though the plate causing no reverse and after reinstalling the transmission reverse was fine. Also, when looking at the plate you need to inspect the orifices for restrictions since this is also common on these units. These restrictions also affect engagement concerns.
